Domain Name Research and Registration

Your Domain Name, or URL, is your identity on the web. It should be clean and easy to enter, memorable and pertinent to the business and image of your company. We can do the research for you - what URL's are already taken? Which are available? What is the best URL for me to use? We'll advise you on the do's and don'ts of this first step, bring you options, and get your new Domain registered for you.

Web Hosting

Okay... I have this nice new site and can't wait to get it going. Now what? Not to worry... our turnkey solutions will handle your new site from the start... we'll get you up and running 'live' on the internet, and keep it going month after month, year after year. And we can also implement a schedule of regular back-ups for you... just in case.

Content Development

So my site is live and performing beautifully. But what if I decide to expand into a new product line? What if I change my address or add another location? Regularly scheduled updates or "call us when you need us". In many cases, we can even build your site so that you can make simple changes yourself, including training and instructional materials.

Not surprisingly, email is very often the preferred method for new customers when contacting businesses about their services. Your business email address is just one more detail that makes an impression... good or bad... on your customer. A customized email address (your_name@your_company.com, for example) validates your business as a professional, legitimate business much more effectively than an address using a common email provider domain such as @comcast.net, @verizon.net or @aol.com. We can make this happen for you through your new website.

WHAT TO
EXPECT...
in a (very small) nutshell:

  1. You'll want to choose an available Domain Name (URL) and register it. This gives you exclusive rights to the URL you select. As long as your registration remains active, no one else can use it.
  2. You'll need someone to host the site. This is a service that you hire to keep all of the files and data for your site and connect them to the World Wide Web so others can reach it through the internet.
  3. Once your new site has been designed and built, the site's files are then transferred to the servers of the host service.
  4. Then, after a few files are configured, your new site is viewable to anyone who enters your web address (URL) into their internet browser. Congratulations... You're LIVE!
